VERA was developed

VERA was developed as a school vision screening to identify more
vision deficits, to help get students to the eye doctor and to reduce the need for special educational services.

Now VERA can also be used by eye doctors and occupational therapists to reliably screen for vision difficulties which affect their patients and to better assist them.

Research has confirmed VERA's ability to identify the majority of learning and performance-related vision difficulties without the need
for a vision specialist.

VERA helps to prevent academic failure or compromised work performance in identified subjects when vision therapy and other interventions are applied.
